India with high density of population results in huge amounts of effluent, silt, solid waste in the water bodies leading to Canal’s resulting into rise in bad environment conditions in the habitat. This results in the increase of unwanted pathogens and which in turn also becomes a breeding ground for mosquitoes leading to malaria and dengue. Many parts of India had faced plagues such as dengue, malaria and similar dangers in the last 2-3 years.
CFRCSR through its associates have collaborated with agencies working in the field of canal natural remediation. The final goal after multi-phase natural water bioremediation proof of concept (POC) is to bring water and silt to permissible level so that the water could be used for gardening in habitat locations or inhabitant to aquatic life. With presence of aquatic life there will be fewer larva in any water body and act as food for fishes. This will provide safe and clean environment.
